This is a decorative design I created with a roller sponge. I first painted the walls, windows and ceiling with a flat teal color. I had a darker hue for the bottom part of the room that I separated with a decorative bar design. I then sponged an iridescent blue pearl glaze on the top part of the walls only, not the ceiling. Then I semi-glossed the windows and doors. I also did a gradation on the frames and doors instead of the bar separation. When the light hits the wall the sponging effect glows in an iridescent blue, otherwise it has a golden look to it.
